Darold is an international award winning Producer/Director with more than 30 years of experience in the television and film industry.
Darold Black has worked in commercial television, news and public affairs, and educational television and the freelance world.
He has produced, directed, and photographed: Television series, educational dramas, television commercials, documentaries, expedition films, news features, Electronic Press Kits, corporate videos, theatrical shorts, and interactive video disc productions. Darold has worked with all major television networks in North America (NBC, CBS, ABC, CBC, CTV, FOX, ACCESS Network) and with major Canadian corporations such as Canadian Pacific, Cenovus, Encana, TransCanada, Enbridge, Imperial Oil, Shell, Esso, Alcan, Westjet, and more!
Darold has produced, directed and photographed productions in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and The Arctic. In all, Darold has produced over 400 hours of film, video and television productions. He has administered individual production budgets of over half a million dollars.
